Rod began his real estate career in the homebuilding industry in 1999. For eight years, he worked in homebuilding and sold over 1,000 homes in his career. He was consistently recognized for being a top producer, not only within the company but the industry as well.
After homebuilding, Rod focused his real estate efforts on business sales and obtained his Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation. He became a specialist in the packaging and marketing of small businesses to PE groups. In 2017, Rod decided to refocus his career back to residential real estate; he joined efforts with his wife Michele at Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty. With his extensive background in homebuilding and business sales, Rod brings a unique level of knowledge and service to their clients.
Rod is a Phoenix native. He attended the W.P. Carey School of Business where he obtained his Bachelor of Science. He also received his MBA in 1996. Rod in an alumnus of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He lives in Paradise Valley with his wife Michele and dachshund Georgie.
